Let’s get one thing straight.
I do NOT have body image issues. Seriously. This past fall, I walked into my boss’s office & told her I wished I had body image issues. Why? Because my fat pants didn’t fit & I couldn’t afford to buy new fat pants & I didn’t want to go to the gym. I wasn’t unhappy with how my body looked. I was unhappy that I wasn’t obsessed with changing my body.
So now that that’s out of the way, here’s the 1st edition of “Fatty on the Fifteenth.”
Each month, on the 15th, I will give a brief update on my “Gotta lose 30lbs before I’m 26″ endeavor (read about that here).
So far, so good.
It’s been a little over a month now since I started.
I joined a Jazzercise gym. SO great. A ton of fun & it keeps me accountable for actually exercising.
One of my RAs has agreed to be my workout buddy here on campus. She doesn’t mind 6am workouts.
I began juicing. Broccoli-apple-orange may be my fav thus far.
And overall, I’ve lost a total of (drum roll please)…..
It’s not earth shattering, but it’s definitely progress. I’m going to keep going & keep losing & keep being healthy. See you in a month!
